# Best gym billing and GST software in India (2026)

Smaran Challapalli · Published 30 Sep 2026 · Updated 2 Nov 2026

Best gym billing and GST software in India, in 2026, means two kinds of product: gym tools that bill memberships, and general GST billing apps that gym owners already use for their books. Seven are listed here, each read from the vendor's own page on 2 Nov 2026 and judged on who holds the money, published pricing and exit.

## How this list was judged

A gym bills differently from a shop. Members renew on a cycle, pay in parts, freeze and return, and buy personal training on top. The invoice also has to carry GST correctly. So the questions below matter more than a feature count:

1. **Membership billing.** Does the product bill renewals, part payments and PT packages, or only one-off invoices?
2. **GST invoices.** Does the vendor's own page mention GST invoices, e-invoicing or GST reports?
3. **Take rate and who holds the money.** Does the vendor keep a cut of member payments, and where does the money settle?
4. **Published pricing.** Can you see the price without booking a demo?
5. **Branches.** What does a second location cost, and can each branch have its own GSTIN?
6. **Data on exit.** Can you export your invoices and members after you leave?

Helmr is ranked first because it is the only entry where the money axes are decided commitments. It is in early access, so it is judged only on those commitments, not on features. Every other entry is read from the vendor's page. Where the page does not say, this list says "not published". A figure is printed only if it was read on the vendor's page on 2 Nov 2026.

## 1. Helmr (early access)

Helmr, gym management software for India, is in early access. It takes 0% of member payments, and the money goes to the gym's own payment account, never Helmr's. Pricing will be one price per business plus a per-branch add-on, published before launch. Migration will be free and assisted. Members will hear from your own WhatsApp number; the WhatsApp rail Helmr uses already runs my own studio's number since 22 Oct 2026. Your data export stays available for 30 days after cancellation, as set out on [the Helmr pricing page](/pricing).

Helmr is building billing and GST invoices inside the same app that handles memberships, with a GSTIN and a payment account per branch. None of this is live yet, so treat it as a plan. For how GST applies to memberships, see GST on gym membership.

## 2. MyGymDesk

MyGymDesk's [pricing page](https://mygymdesk.com/pricing) (checked 2 Nov 2026) says invoice generation and GST-compliant billing appear on every plan. The Free plan charges 1.5% of collections, capped at ₹6,000 a month plus GST. Starter is ₹999 a month, excluding GST. Yearly Enterprise pricing: see their page. Extra locations cost extra. Comparison: [Helmr vs MyGymDesk](/compare/helmr-vs-mygymdesk/).

## 3. GymBook

[GymBook](https://gymbook.in) (checked 2 Nov 2026) lists its Starter plan at ₹649 for 3 months, with rupee prices excluding 18% GST. The page mentions automated billing and renewals. GST invoices are not mentioned on the page, and payment fees are not published. Comparison: [Helmr vs GymBook](/compare/helmr-vs-gymbook/).

## 4. Zoho Books

[Zoho Books](https://www.zoho.com/in/books/pricing/) (checked 2 Nov 2026) is general accounting software. Its Standard plan is ₹899 per organisation per month, or ₹749 per month billed annually, excluding local taxes. The page lists GST reports and e-invoices on Standard, and automated payment reminders. It does not mention memberships or WhatsApp reminders. Payment gateway fees are not published on that page.

## 5. Vyapar

[Vyapar](https://vyaparapp.in/) (checked 2 Nov 2026) describes GST-ready billing with e-invoice and e-way bill creation, and sending bills and reminders on WhatsApp. The page says mobile users get a lifetime free plan with basic features. Paid prices are not published on the page read. Its industry list does not name gyms, and fees on online payments are not published.

## 6. TallyPrime

[TallyPrime](https://tallysolutions.com/tally-prime/) (checked 2 Nov 2026) covers accounting, invoicing, e-invoicing, e-way bills and GSTR filing. Its page lists Silver (single user) at ₹9,000 for 12 months plus 18% GST before discounts. Gym memberships, renewals and member reminders are not mentioned on the page.

## 7. BUSY

[BUSY](https://busy.in/) (checked 2 Nov 2026) is accounting software for small and medium businesses, with GST invoices shareable on WhatsApp, e-invoicing and GSTR reconciliation. Its Start plan is from ₹5,000 per year, GST charged separately. The page makes no mention of gyms or fitness.

## The gym owner's real choice

Most gym owners end up with two systems: one for members and one for the accountant. That is where mismatched invoice numbers and missing receipts come from. The test for any option on this list is whether a membership payment becomes a correct GST invoice without being typed twice. Ask each vendor to show you a renewal, a part payment and a refund, start to finish.

## Questions to ask any vendor before you sign

1. Do you bill renewals and part payments, or only one-off invoices?
2. Will each branch get its own GSTIN and invoice series?
3. What percentage do you take from my members' payments, and where does the money settle?
4. What is the full yearly price including GST, for one branch and for three?
5. Can I export every invoice and member after I cancel, and for how long?
6. Is moving my old data free, and who does the work?
7. Is any of this written on your pricing page or in the contract?

## Where Helmr fits

If a membership payment turning into the right GST invoice, with the money in your own account, is what you want, Helmr is built around it. It is in early access, and the first gyms are shaping it.
